How to serve in pickleball for beginners with manual

Today, i’m going to guide you through the process of getting started in pickleball as a complete beginner. For a legitimate serve, server should be outside the baseline, and serve should be done in a diagonal manner.

This is because most of the rules, serving and faults are. As long as you perform an easy going underhanded arc serve, you will virtually never break this rule. A serve will only be considered legitimate if it reaches the opponent serving area without any bounce.

Now as many of you will know, the basic rules of a pickleball serve are that they must be played underhanded, the motion of the serve must be going down to up, the contact with the ball must be made below the waist and the paddle face must be below the wrist at the point of contact.

At the begging of the game, teams toss a coin to choose the side that will serve first. Once you can serve consistently and reasonably deep into the court, the next step is to develop your ability to serve the ball either to a player’s backhand or to their forehand. In other words, let balls are now playable. Pickleball serves have to strike at or below waist level.
